Four Year Old Kindergarten
The Maroondah Integrated Kindergarten Association (MIKA) maintains a central enrolment system and allocates places according to parents' preferences and locality basis.
20 community based and one private kindergarten use the MIKA Central Enrolment System.
Application forms are available from local Maternal and Child Health Centres, Kindergartens, Council offices and Service Centres.

Applications should be made between February and 30 June during the year before the child is eligible to attend Kindergarten.

When enrolling your child, parents are asked to carefully consider the age of their child and whether he/she will be ready for the demands of kindergarten.

Three Year Old Kindergarten
Many kindergartens offer programs for three year olds.
From 2008, enrolment for three year old programs will be handled centrally by MIKA. If your child is due to begin a three year old program in 2009, please download the enrolment form below.
