It is exciting to see works begin on the development of Croydon Town Square. With the former shoe shop building now demolished, we can really start to see the full potential of what will become our new Croydon Town Square.

To ensure the community can continue to use the space over the Christmas period, the area will be levelled making it easier to access Main Street and Croydon Station. Works on creating the Town Square will then continue in the New Year with seating and landscaping creating a new, welcoming space for our community to come together.

This is just one of the many exciting projects happen in Croydon, with plans for the redevelopment of Centro Shopping Centre also progressing well. Council is also still actively advocating to the Victorian Government for the grade separation at Coolstore Road, which would provide greater linkages and movements through the entire area.
