Rates payment reminder

Ratepayers who have elected to pay their rates in four instalments, the fourth instalment is due 31 May.

Rates, along with other Council income, is used to provide more than 120 services and programs that benefit the whole community spanning capital works, community support, transport and more, so it’s vital that payments are made on time. However, anyone who is having difficulty in meeting rate payment deadlines are encouraged to contact Council’s Revenue Services team as soon as possible. Council’s Financial Hardship Policy allows a tailored payment plan to be set up for individual ratepayers.

There are many ways to pay your rates, including online and via direct debit.

How to pay your rates

Online:  from your credit card

In person: at any Australia Post Office, or at any Council Service Centre.

By phone: from a credit card by calling 1300 900 765.

BPay: payments directly from a bank account.

By mail: with the re-usable envelope attached to your rate notice.

For added convenience, ratepayers can register to receive their Rates Notice electronically.
