Women-on-the-go.jpg The Women on the Go Expo is a great way to showcase the talents of our local female business owners.

The Women on the Go Expo is on again in 2018, and you’re invited.

Maroondah Mayor Councillor Nora Lamont said the expo will be held at Eastland on International Women's Day, Thursday 8 March, from 9am to 5.30pm.

“The Women on the Go Series continues in 2018 and is in its 10th year. The expo is a joint event, hosted in conjunction with Knox and Yarra Ranges Councils,” said Cr Lamont.

“You can come along and support local businesses, spanning everything from natural cleaning products, aged care services, financial services, locksmiths, reception venues, illustrators, clothing, craft products, personal styling and more!” said Cr Lamont.

“The expo provides an important opportunity for local women in business to network, promote their business and increase their client base,” said Cr Lamont.

“It also provides an opportunity to see some of the amazing local businesses, owned by women, right on your doorstep,” said Cr Lamont.

“More broadly, the expo is a celebration of what women can achieve in business. It is aptly held on International Women’s Day, which celebrates the achievement of women and promotes equality in all areas of our lives, including economic opportunity,” said Cr Lamont.
