Asset Protection Permit
Maroondah City Council Local Law No. 6
Local Law No. 6 was implemented to protect Council's infrastructure assets that may be affected by building works. Council's infrastructure assets include anything outside the property, but are not limited to vehicle crossings, footpaths, naturestrips, drains and pits, kerb, road pavement, trees, signs, poles and hydrants.
An Asset Protection Permit is issued to enable Owners and Builders to transport building materials and equipment across Council infrastructure assets.
Where required an Asset Protection Permit must be obtained at least seven (7) days prior to commencing building works.
