Busking & Leaflets
Written application is required for permission to busk on Council land.
If an applicant wants to busk on privately owned land eg. Eastland Shopping Centre, permission needs to be obtained from Eastland Centre Management.
Private land includes Eastland, Ringwood (Target) Square, Croydon Market, Arndale Shopping Centre.
Permit Guidelines
A permit to busk will only be given when:
- no amplification device is to be used
- no litter will be generated by the activity
- the busking will only be permitted in one location for a maximum of One Hour in any three hour period
- no inconvenience is to be caused to either pedestrians or vehicles
- no begging is permitted
Should any complaint of any nature be received at this office this permit will be revoked.
Handing out Pamphlets/Samples or Conducting Surveys
No permit is required by Council - providing no selling is involved
