To assist residents, Council maintains a register of people that require clean fill.
Please note that clean fill consists of clay, silt, sand, gravel and rock of naturally occurring materials. It must not include any other materials such as asbestos, concrete, brick, pipe, plastics, metal pieces, wood or organic matter. Brick and concrete and the like are not permitted to be used as fill in substitution for clean fill soil.
Requests for clean fill
If you require clean fill, please call us on 9298 4292 and provide:
- your name
- contact number
- suburb of site requiring clean fill
- approximate volume required.
When we receive a request, we will provide the caller with name, contact number and suburb of each site (no addresses are given out). All negotiations for delivery, quantity, etc are between the two parties.
Offers of clean fill
If you have clean fill available, call us on 9298 4292 and we will provide the contact details for sites that have registered with us. You can then contact these people directly.
