Commercial Waste Services
For commercially rated businesses, Council offers a 240 litre mobile garbage bin with a choice of once or three times a week collection.
Costs for 2007/2008 including GST are as follows:
1 x week service = $370 per annum
3 x week service = $770 per annum
Also included in this service, free of charge, is the option of a 240 litre commingled recycling bin, emptied fortnightly.
Businesses can obtain an additional recycling bin at a cost of $77 per annum including GST, (limit 1 per property).
Industrial Waste Services
For industrial rated businesses such as factories, workshops & warehouses, Council offers a 120 litre rubbish bin which is emptied once a week.
Costs for 2007/2008 including GST are as follows:
1 x week service = $225.50 per annum
A recycling bin is not included with this service. Industrial businesses should seek the services of a private provider should they wish to commence a recycling service.
