Flu Program 2019

We are offering the latest seasonal influenza vaccine FREE to eligible people:

  • children aged from 6 months to under 5 years old (up to 4 years and 11 months)
  • people aged 65 years and over
  • pregnant women
  • all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and older
  • people aged six months and over with medical conditions predisposing them to severe influenza.

Children under 9 years receiving this vaccine for the first time will require 2 doses with at least a 4 week period in between each dose.

If you are not eligible for the free vaccine you can purchase the latest quadrivalent flu vaccine at our session for a cost of $27.

Council offers the seasonal influenza vaccine at all the public immunisation sessions across various locations and times within Maroondah. Everyone is welcome and you can book an appointment online at a venue of your choice on our public immunisation page

What to bring

Please bring a completed influenza form with you to your session:

You will also need to bring:

  • Child Immunisation Record Book (green book)
  • any previous vaccination history.
