To celebrate the 2019 Seniors Festival, Council, as well as local groups and clubs, have arranged wonderful activities for you to enjoy!

The Victorian Seniors Festival recognises the achievements and contributions of older people within our community by offering a diverse, exciting, and enjoyable program of events supported and provided by local senior’s clubs, groups, services, and programs.

We encourage you to take part in our local activities and celebrations throughout the month.

Seniors Festival Day at Karralyka

Tuesday 15 October

Karralyka Centre, Mines Road, East Ringwood

As part of the 2019 Victorian Seniors Festival, Maroondah City Council would like to invite you to a FREE Seniors Festival Day at Karralyka

Seniors Wellbeing Expo - 9.30am to 2pm

At our Seniors Wellbeing Expo, you will be able to enjoy a variety of displays and information by organisations providing opportunities/services to seniors in Maroondah.

No booking required.

Seniors Concert - 10.30am to 11.30am

Come along and hear the amazing Michael Cormick, internationally renowned singer and actor and star of Australia’s Beauty and the Beast (as the Beast to Rachel Beck’s Beauty), as he sings a variety of musical theatre classics.

Morning tea will be available from 9.45am.

Maroondah Seniors Festival Celebration Lunch - 12noon to 1.30pm

Make sure you book in for the special free delicious two-course lunch during the Expo. Spaces are limited, so book early!

Bookings are limited to a maximum of four seats per person and all seats are allocated at time of booking.

Maroondah Seniors Festival Comedy Event - 2pm to 3pm

Come along and have your funny bone tickled by the fabulous Australian comedian, Monica Dullard, who will be presenting her show ‘Ageing with Attitude’.

Monica Dullard is a Baby Boomer! Her mum is 90 and feisty to boot! Join Monica in her new show, chock full of characters, stories and observations about doing what we can not to get old, including vertical folding of underwear and eating kale!
