Groups, Events & Grants
Whether you want to help preserve our valuable flora and fauna, participate in revegetation programs, clean up litter or develop an interest in environmental activities, there are plenting of opportunities to become involved in groups and events.
On an annual basis, environmental groups assist Council in compiling an environmental events calendar. The calendar offers information on working bee dates for each group, what the event entails, where to meet, what to bring and who to contact for further information. Many working bees involve weeding, planting or removing rubbish from Maroondah's reserves.
To see the full calendar of environmental events, contact the Bushcare Officer on 1300 88 22 33.
