Remembrance Day

As Maroondah Festival falls on Remembrance Day this year, there will be a service at 10.45am at James N Stevens Memorial Lawn, (at the front of Croydon Library) followed by one minute's silence at 11am.

Areas and stages

If you need a break during your time visiting Maroondah Festival, there will be a quiet area located on the eastern side of Keystone Hall. The 'break room' is a quiet space for Festival Patrons to rest and take time out. The area will include seating and access to water.

Giant Puppets of Maroondah

Come along and see the Scammer, Spunky, Eyeball, Magpie and Roo Girl in action wandering the Maroondah Festival this Sunday 12 November.

Created by Snuff Puppets with students from the VCAL Program at Swinburne University, the puppets are very big and very funny. First performed in the Ringwood arts precinct, this project is supported by Eastland and the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.

Circus project

Short dynamic performances by students from Melba College will be shown throughout the day at Maroondah Festival. The students will be showing the skills they learnt over ten weeks of workshops with legendary youth arts company Westside Circus. First performed in the Ringwood arts precinct, this project is supported by Eastland and the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
