To celebrate International Composting Awareness Week, which runs from 6-12 May, Maroondah City Council is offering two free beginner Organic Recycling workshops.

By composting, worm farming or using a Bokashi bucket you can reduce the amount of waste in your garbage bin by 50%. This free workshop will provide you with all the information you need to set up and maintain an organic recycling system at home.

All participants will receive a free home kitchen caddy to help with collecting kitchen food waste.

Refreshments for the evening will also be provided.
