About the artists

Margaret Krajnc is a local Illustrator and artist who captures her passion in her artworks. Her love for all things circus is obvious as you discover her beautiful paintings. Having studied Graphic Design at Monash University, Margaret uses her knowledge of design to produce artworks that speak to the viewer.

Exhibiting for the first time at Wyreena is Kate Hudson.  This talented printmaker specializes in limited edition linocut prints.  She incorporates images of native birds, flowers and domestic items in her highly patterned and decorative prints.  Kate’s influences include Japanese woodblocks, Art Nouveau, the Arts & Crafts Movement and printmakers such as Margaret Preston.

Painter Jenny Keogh will exhibit at Wyreena again following her last successful showing in The Arts Lounge.  She loves to take images from real life as well as from her imagination.  Jenny’s use of contrasting textures produces modern, quirky and appealing pieces

Laurie Keogh primarily uses pastel pencils, his work reflects the fascination he has with light source and detail. Laurie approaches his subject matter from close up, inviting the viewer to feel the emotion of his artwork.
