Please join us for the exhibition opening celebrations ofWeaving Stories: Kate Beynon, Nusra Latif Qureshi, Aunty Irene Norman and Shan Turner-Carroll.

6-8pm on Thursday 2nd August at ArtSpace Realm.

Contemporary identity is at the heart of the exhibition Weaving Stories, presenting the work of four Australian artists exploring the rich nature of personal cultural attachments. Each artist draws on imagery from their cultural heritage and the artworks explore how identity is shaped and informed by inherited and living histories.

The exhibition launch will include an Acknowledgement of Country by Aunty Irene Norman, followed by opening remarks from Dr Moya McFadzean, Senior Curator Migration and Cultural Diversity at Museum Victoria. The exhibition will be officially launched by the Deputy Mayor of Maroondah, Cr Mike Symon.

The best place for Realm and Town Square visitors to park is within the Eastland carpark. (free for 3 hours)

When arriving via Ringwood Bypass, enter from Ringwood Street at West 5. If you arrive from Warrandyte Road, use entry East 6.
