Gravel & Unmade Roads
The City of Maroondah has 23 unmade roads (ie those that consist of a gravel surface), with a total length of approximately 9km. These roads are maintained in accordance with the levels of service documented within Council's Road Management Plan, which requires one grading per year, and rectification of any potholes as required.
Maroondah also has 25 partially constructed roads (those that consist of an asphalt surface without concrete kerb & channel) with a total length of approximately 5km. These roads are also maintained in accordance with the levels of service documented within Council’s Road Management Plan, which requires maintenance activities such as the rectification of potholes and the reinstatement of linemarking.
