Register of Public Roads

Council has developed a Register of Public Roads, as part of the development of its Road Management Plan.

The Register contains a comprehensive list of the Public Roads within Maroondah, and includes roads, carparks and rights of way (ROW) that Council has a statutory requirement to inspect, maintain and repair, in accordance with its Road Management Plan.

Council has also developed visual Geographical Information System (GIS) layers of the Public Roads, as listed in the Register, which provide a graphical representation of the roads, carparks, and ROWs.

Council's Public Roads are defined to be the area of land from private property boundary to private property boundary that is set aside for use as a road, and as represented on Council's GIS.

The Register can be viewed in the attachments below, or on Council's GIS at Council's City offices Service Centre, located at Braeside Avenue, Ringwood, during normal office hours.
