Best Value
What is Best Value and what does it mean to a community?
Best Value is a commitment to getting the best value for our resources and the best possible service for the community. It is also about striving continuously to improve our services and the way we do things.
Best Value principles ensure that Council continues to focus on the particular needs of the community and is delivering appropriate services to meet those needs.
Our services are aimed to be accessible by those who need them.
To measure our success and improve the quality of services, Council has in place methods of measuring the standard of services being provided and reporting these results to the community regularly. These reports summarise the status and outcomes of the Best Value service reviews which have been completed.
