Sustainable Living Space

The Sustainable Living Space is a community initiative in the outer eastern suburbs, looking at ways to involve the community in environmental sustainability.  The project is a partnership of  Maroondah City Council, Manningham City Council, North Ringwood Community House, Park Orchards Learning Centre, and the Eastern Volunteer Resource Centre.

The major focus is to talk to the community to determine interest in creating a Sustainable Living Space - a place where people and groups can come and learn how to live more sustainably in their everyday lives and share knowledge and experiences of living sustainably.

Over the coming months we’ll be speaking to the community at a range of community forums, focus groups, workshops, community conversations and through surveys. We’ll be asking people what they think about the environment and living a sustainable life. We’ll also be asking them what they think about the idea of developing a space dedicated to sustainable living in the area.

We need input from all parts of the outer eastern community.  To find out how to get involved in this exciting project visit the Sustainable Living Space website.
