Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts with us over the past months, as we prepare an enhancement plan for Eastfield Park.

Council has been working closely with the user groups and our community to ensure we have a clear understanding of what people love about the reserve and what areas they would like to see enhanced.

Discussing ideas and concerns directly with residents is one of the best ways we, as Councillors, can keep our finger on the pulse. I’ve enjoyed speaking with user groups and am pleased that the majority are very supportive of the proposed key elements.

We are now preparing a revised draft of the enhancement plan for Eastfield Park, with further community consultation to take place late January and February.

I encourage the community to stay engaged with the project on the YourSay Maroondah website, so that we can get the best result for the future of Eastfield Park.
