Changes to Council’s services and facilities

As the Coronavirus pandemic impacts Australia, Council is taking direction from Australia's Chief Medical Officer and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Protecting our community

Maroondah City Council is taking action to contain the spread of the virus and reduce the risk to the health of our community, including implementing our Pandemic and Business Continuity Management Plans.

Due to Australian and Victorian Government requirements to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 there have been some changes to our venues, services and events.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Services and facilities that are closed

The Victorian Government has announced that Victoria's lockdown will be extended until 11.59pm on Tuesday 27 July. 

Council is following the Victorian Government guidance, meaning many of our facilities will remain closed while the current restrictions are in place, this includes: 

Continuing services

Face masks must be worn in all Council facilities by everyone aged 12 years and older (unless exemptions apply).

While many of our services are continuing throughout the current restrictions, the following are ones we are often asked about that are currently open.
