Council is now in an Election ‘Caretaker’ Period.

From 12noon, Tuesday 17 September until 6pm, Saturday 26 October Council enters into an Election ‘Caretaker’ Period. This is in place to avoid actions and decisions that may be interpreted as influencing voters or binding an incoming Council. There will be limited updates on our digital channels during this time.

Seniors outings

Our Senior’s community outings are subsidised by Maroondah City Council and available to Maroondah residents over 50 years-of-age.

They are a great way to experience new places and make new friends!

Please note that you must be independently mobile and able to enter and exit a bus without assistance. There is no personal care offered on this program.

Alowyn Gardens is a seven-acre award winning display garden in the heart of the Yarra Valley. It features nine distinct garden areas and an extensive plant nursery. We will be visiting in time to see the spectacular wisteria arch. Followed by lunch at the Grand Hotel, Yarra Glen.

The Sculpture Park is an outdoor gallery within 330 acres of landscaped grounds that offer a gentle stroll around the network of winding paths that lead visitors past some 60 works mostly but not exclusively of large-scale.
