We offer a range of services for people with a disability and their carers as part of our Home and Community Care Program for Younger People.

National Disability Insurance Scheme - NDIS

A new way of providing support to people under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability to live an ordinary life.

Accessible parking permits

Maroondah residents with a disability and organisations who transport people with a disability can apply for parking permits.

MetroAccess

The aim of MetroAccess is to build the capacity of local communities across metropolitan Victoria so that they are more welcoming and inclusive of people with disabilities.

Changing Places accessible toilet

To use the Changing Places toilet at Ringwood Lake Park you will need an MLAK, available free of charge from Council Service Centres.

Liberty swing

To access the Liberty Swing at Ringwood Lake Park, you will need an MLAK key, which is available from Council Service Centres during office hours.

Marveloo

Marveloo is a mobile accessible restroom for hire. Marveloo caters for people with a severe disability and their carers.
