Walking Football

What is Walking Football?

Walking football is a modified version of soccer that doesn’t involve running or tackling.

Aimed at participants aged over 50, Walking Football provides the opportunity to support and maintain mobility skills through walking, stopping, turning and transferring of weight - all of which improves balance and reduces the risk of falls.

To celebrate, we are running a range of events, so you can come along and try Walking Football out for yourself, as well as take part in an ongoing competition.

Walking Football weekly sessions

The Walking Football weekly sessions will run every Thursday from 10am to 12noon at John Frost Stadium, Cheong Park. Read more about our Walking Football weekly sessions or join here
