Works in Road Reserve Permit

You must apply for a Works in Road Reserve Permit (formerly known as a Road/Asset Opening Permit) before undertaking any excavation of the footpath/nature strip/kerb and channel OR when connecting to Council drainage in the street or easement (pit/pipe/kerb and channel).

To apply for a Works in Road Reserve Permit (formally known as a Road/Asset Opening Permit), please email engineering@maroondah.vic.gov.au the following required information:

  • contact details
  • property address
  • proposed works
  • attached plan of proposed works. 

In reply, an invoice will be emailed to you to arrange payment.
