Council has completed works on Silcock Reserve Pavilion. 

The $3.2 million redevelopment of the new Silcock Reserve Pavilion continues to take shape. Once completed, the new pavilion will include multipurpose spaces for enhanced community use, The redevelopment of the pavilion will include:

  • demolition of existing cricket/soccer changerooms, social space and under cover spectator viewing area
  • construction of four new female friendly changerooms
  • two new umpire changerooms
  • first-aid room
  • new multi-purpose social space
  • new kiosk and kitchen
  • new amenities to service the social room and changerooms
  • new undercover spectator viewing area
  • public accessible toilet
  • multiple store rooms.

The facility is one of Council’s most utilised pavilions and is currently home to the Croydon Ranges Cricket Club, Croydon Ranges Football Club and the Croydon and District Obedience Dog Club.

The project is being jointly funded by Council, the Australian Government contributing $500,000 and the Victorian Government $250,000.

The Victorian government has also contributed $125,000 towards the installation of new lighting to the reserve.
