Council will be undertaking landscape improvement works at Tarralla Kinder and Maternal Child Health Centre.

Budget $2.2M

Funded by Maroondah City Council with $200,000 funded by the Federal Government and $900,000 funded by the Victorian State Government.

The redevelopment works incorporate the demolition of the existing Material Child Health building, with the reconstruction of a modern Material Child Health centre with 3 consulting rooms, play group room and parent education room.

Accessed by a shared entry with the Material Child Health centre, the Kinder will be expanded from 2 rooms to 3 rooms. Allowing over 90 three and four year old children access to Kinder services each year.

Construction begun in March 2021 and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2022.

Tarralla Kinder are operating out of the Gracedale Rd and Mount Dandenong Road sites during construction. With the Tarralla MCH service operating out of 15 Civic Square during construction.
