Council has completed works on the construction of a foothpath between Leena Court and Plymouth Road in Warranwood.

 The Federal Government is funding the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program for the construction of a footpath in Warranwood between Leena Court and Plymouth Road.

Works associated with the footpath construction will include:

1. Replacement of the existing swale with formal kerb, channel and drainage infrastructure

2. Installation of a retaining wall to support the footpath.

3. Reconstruction of property vehicle crossings and private driveways to provide suitable entry and exit movements.

4. Construction of a deceleration turning lane into Leena Court from Warranwood Road.

5. Removal of eight (8) nature strip trees impacted by the footpath works, of which:

            a. Four (4) are juvenile - Council will attempt to transplant within the nature reserve;

            b. Three (3) are mature; and

            c. One (1) is dead

6. Replacement planting of Fourteen (14) indigenous Eucalyptus species within the available nature strip area post works.

Works are expected to be completed by February 2022.
