Council is currently undertaking proactive monitoring of various former landfill site in Maroondah.
The proactive testing is undertaken to monitor the degradation of waste at this former landfill site. Part of the testing will include the drilling of boreholes for soil testing.
The onsite testing work is scheduled to happen across all locations throughout January to March 2022. All works will be completed within a week of starting on each site, subject to weather. The work will not impact users of the reserves/courses or the wider community.
