The Anthropocene by Minna Leunig

We're excited to be able to unveil Minna Leunig's fantastic mural, 'The Anthropocene' on the hoarding at 125 Maroondah Highway Ringwood. Thematically linked to the McGivern Prize exhibitions at ArtSpace and Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery, this temporary artwork transforms an unsightly building site into an engaging painting filled with Leunig's fantastic beasts.

A series of six curated digital and photographic artworks has recently been installed on traffic signal boxes in Ringwood. Selected from responses to a brief, these artworks form part of the trail connecting the two Council art venues that are hosting the McGivern Prize over the summer months.
