The Backyard

Public Art

The Backyard in February is an exciting program of arts and performance events in the heart of the Ringwood arts precinct.

The Backyard is a one of kind space that is rarely open to the public, featuring a series of phenomenal murals by renowned local and international female street artists including, according to Vogue Australia, “one of the 32 pieces of street art to see before you die”.

Following careful covid-safe protocols, the Backyard in February will be a chance for people to once again come together safely for outdoor performances and events.

The Backyard in February is a Ringwood arts precinct project connecting local artists with audiences in Ringwood’s most surprising space. Fresh Theatre and Urban Life acknowledge the support of the Maroondah City Council’s Arts and Cultural Grants Scheme. Eastland is a generous Ringwood arts precinct supporter and partner.
