COVID-19 update

The Premier has announced a return to Stage 3 restrictions commencing Wednesday 8 July at 11.59pm. In response to the Stage 3 restrictions, Wyreena Playspace will be closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience.  


Wyreena Playspace is a a children’s wonderland to stimulate their senses through texture, light and colour.

The Playspace has been designed for children aged 12 and under and has natural elements, artistic and creative spaces as well as some traditional playground structures. The public art pieces were designed by artist James Cattell and the interactive music objects were created by sound sculpter, Herbert Jercher.

The Playspace is located next to the Conservatory Cafe, surrounded by park benches and tables. There is daily access to a public toilet.
