Heathmont Bushcare October volunteer working bee

Photo of Dexter's bush in Heathmont, which is a natural bush reserve with tall gum trees and brushy grasses

Help local residents care for remnant bushland in Heathmont through planting, weeding and restoration projects.

The group meets on the first Sunday of the month from 10am - 12pm.

Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants and long-sleeved shirt and bring gloves, tools if you have them (e.g. sturdy trowel, secateurs), drinking water, snacks, and a cup (to join the volunteers for a cuppa at the end of the working bee).

For the group's October working bee, help collect rubbish and remove weeds (such as invasive grasses) at the Heathmont Railway Line site “The Station”.

Meet north of Heathmont Station car park (Melways reference: 50 A11).
