Come and help the local Friends Group care for the nationally significant habitat of the Bungalook Conservation Reserves

Friends of Bungalook Conservation Reserves volunteers help maintain nationally significant habitat in Kilsyth South and enjoy regular nature walks and ecological activities.

The group meets on the second Saturday of the month (except in January), and working bees usually consist of an informative walk, weed removal, litter collection and morning tea at around 11am. Other occasional activities include revegetation and environmental monitoring.

Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt, and bring gloves, tools if you have them (e.g. sturdy trowel, secateurs), drinking water and snacks. Please also remove dirt from your footwear before participating, to prevent spreading forest diseases.
