Heathmont Bushcare December volunteer working bee

Heathmont-Bushcare

Help local residents care for remnant bushland in Heathmont through planting, weeding and restoration projects.

The group meets on the first Sunday of the month from 10am to 12pm.

Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants and long-sleeved shirt and bring gloves, tools if you have them (e.g. sturdy trowel, secateurs), drinking water, snacks, and a cup (to join the volunteers for a cuppa at the end of the working bee).

For the group's December working bee, help maintain “Lobelia Swamp” & “Alisma Swamp” at H.E. Parker Reserve by removing environmental weeds Trad and Creeping Buttercup.

Meet: at the end of Pett Court, Heathmont (Melways reference: 64 C2).
