This free online interactive workshop will help you to use social media platforms more safely.
Online and interactive training for women and girls aged 16 and over
Did you know that women are more likely to be the target of online abuse? This online session will help women and girls aged 16 and over to:
- use social media platforms safely by updating privacy settings
- recognise online abuse and how to report it
- protect their own wellbeing.
Everyone should have the opportunity to use online spaces safely, however too often women avoid social media or stop using it because of negative experiences and online abuse. This online session will give women and girls the tools to navigate social media and the online world safely.
Sessions are presented by eSafety Women.
This event is hosted in partnership with the eSafety Commissioner, EDVOS Eastern Domestic Violence Service, Knox City Council and Yarra Ranges Council.
