Pop-up spaces for dining and play

Four new temporary pop-up spaces have been installed in local shopping strips across Maroondah. The spaces are designed to encourage more people into the spaces to support the local businesses. You can grab a coffee or a take away meal and sit outdoors in the fresh air.

Locations

The temporary pop-up parks will be at the following locations until June 2022:

McAdam Square Shopping Centre, cnr Plymouth Rd and Kirtain Dve, Croydon North (Centre courtyard area near Rumour Mill)
Bedford Road Shopping Centre, Bedford Rd, Ringwood East (Centre courtyard area near Keizo Hair Design)
Burnt Bridge Shopping Centre, cnr Burnt Bridge Beaufort Road and Maroondah Highway, Ringwood (Maroondah Highway service road near Crispy Catch Fish & Chips and Bark and Silk)
Merrindale Shopping Centre, Dorset Road, Croydon (In the laneway next to LQ Hair and Beauty)

The temporary spaces have been designed to be COVID-safe and provide a safe place for you to meet up with friends or family while supporting local businesses.

The pop-up spaces are funded through the Victorian Government’s Outdoor Activation Fund, aimed at further supporting traders in our local centres.
