This guide provides a list of agencies and recycling centres to help with safe disposal of waste items and correct recycling procedures.
Charges may apply for some items; we recommend you contact the facility to confirm any costs before taking your items.

Council kerbside collection
- Place in garbage bin, emptied weekly.

Needles

Council drop off
- Council offers local residents a free disposal service for used hypodermic needles and syringes. These items are designated as biologically hazardous and require safe disposal.
- To use this service, simply call 1300 88 22 33 and ask for a 'Sharps' container. When the container has been filled with used syringes and needles, bring it back for replacement.
