Winter Shelter is a volunteer run program. The program provides overnight shelter to homeless males aged over 18 years. Guests are assessed and referred to the program by Uniting Wesley and Wellways.

The guests are provided with overnight shelter in churches in Maroondah. Guests must be aged 18 years or over.

Volunteer at Winter Shelter

Volunteers are always welcome to assist with cooking, driving a mini bus, towing the trailer and helping the guests to feel safe and comfortable. Volunteers are asked to attend training. Volunteers do not need to belong to a church.

Please visit wintershelter.org.au/volunteer for more information and to sign up.
