National Disability Insurance Scheme - NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support for eligible people under 65 with permanent and significant disability.

The NDIS has been designed to give people with disability choice and control over choosing the services that work best for them to provide the support they need.

For information about how the NDIS works, and who is eligible, visit the NDIS website.

NDIS Coordinator

Maroondah Council is pleased to offer support to Maroondah residents through a dedicated NDIS Coordinator who works within Council’s Aged and Disability Services team. The NDIS Coordinator will help Maroondah residents with general and individualised information and support for understanding and navigating the NDIS. Advocacy support is also available.

Our NDIS Coordinator can support you over the phone, with face-to-face meetings at home (or another venue) or via email. They can explain what to expect about the process of applying for, reviewing or appealing NDIS plans and provide practical support resources.

Contact our NDIS Coordinator on 9298 4625 or email maroondah@maroondah.vic.gov.au
