Changing Places toilets are different to standard accessible toilets. They have extra features and more space to meet the needs of people with servere and profound disabilities.
Each Changing Places toilet provides:
- a height adjustable adult-sized changing bench
- a tracking hoist system
- enough space
- a safe and clean environment.
You will need to bring your own sling.

Accessing the toilet
Ringwood Lake Changing Places toilet is locked to counter vandalism and misuse.
To use the toilet you will need an MLAK - a master key that fits into specially designed locks allowing 24 hour a day access to special facilities.
An MLAK will open any Changing Places toilet or Liberty Swing across Australia, and other facilities that are fitted with this lock.

Eligibility is restricted to people who have a disability or have written authority from:
- a doctor
- a disability organisation
- community health centre
- the owner or management of a building with an accessible toilet on site.
