About the Victorian Seniors Festival
The Victorian Seniors Festival runs throughout October, offering thousands of free and low-cost events across the state for older Victorians.
This year's theme is Connect, Create, Celebrate, encouraging older Victorians to try something new, connect with others and have fun.
Major events include:
- Celebration Day at Fed Square
- Big Band Dance
- Country Concert series
- Aged Care Tour
- Victorian Senior of the Year Awards.

Free public transport
Victorian Seniors Card holders can travel on public transport for free from Saturday 3 October to Sunday 11 October.
Whether you're attending an event locally or travelling to another part of Victoria, free travel makes it easier to get involved during the festival.
