Abandoned shopping trolleys

Shopping trolleys that are not returned to their owner are considered litter. They can be a hazard to road users and are unsightly in our parks and reserves.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to report abandoned trolleys in the following ways:

  • Free call 1800 641 497 or report a trolley on the Trolley Tracker website for the following retailers:
    • Woolworths
    • Big W
    • Dan Murphy's.
  • Free call 1800TROLLEY or 1800 876 553 for the following retailers:
    • Coles
    • Kmart
    • Bunnings
    • Officeworks
    • 1st Choice.
  • Call 1800 163 900 for Target trolleys.
  • Call Costco Ringwood on 03 8873 6700 for Costco shopping trolleys.
  • Visit the Coles website to report a Coles abandoned shopping trolley.
  • For any other type of trolley, please call Maroondah City Council on 1300 88 22 33.
