Maroondah Carols

Next date: Saturday, 05 December 2026 | 06:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Maroondah Carols has been a community highlight for over 25 years. This free event brings our community together to celebrate the festive season, enjoy live entertainment and share in the Christmas spirit.

Join us at Town Park, Croydon, for an evening of pre-show entertainment, live music, food, free family activities and a spectacular fireworks finale.

There’s something for the whole family at Maroondah Carols.

Arrive from 6pm to enjoy pre-show entertainment from Croydon Primary School and Stage School Australia, grab something to eat from the food trucks and explore the free Kids Zone.

Thanks to Kids Zone sponsor Discovery Childcare and Education, families can enjoy Christmas-themed activities, rides, games, roving performers and plenty of festive fun before the main concert begins.

The main concert begins at 7.30pm, hosted by Lucy Holmes, with the Maroondah Carols Band and performances from:

Santa will also make a special appearance during the evening.

The night will finish with a spectacular fireworks display at approximately 9.30pm, weather dependent.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy Maroondah Carols.

Auslan interpreters will be on stage during the main concert from 7.30pm and will also be shown on the big screen.

A low-sensory calm space will be available for people who need a quieter place to decompress during the event.

Accessible parking and a drop-off and pick-up zone will also be available.

Plan your trip before you arrive. There are a range of transport options, including public transport, accessible parking, a drop-off and pick-up zone and nearby parking.

Please note that the Town Park Athletics Track will be closed and fenced off from Friday 4 December to Sunday 6 December while large event equipment and trucks are on site. AC Robertson Athletics Track is available as an alternative during the closure.

Fireworks are planned for approximately 9.30pm, weather permitting.

If you live nearby, please keep pets safely indoors during the fireworks display, as some animals may be frightened by the noise.

Please don't bring pets to Maroondah Carols. Guide dogs and assistance animals are permitted.
