Draft Disability Action Plan 2022-2026
Council has developed a draft Disability Action Plan 2022-2026 and is seeking community feedback.
The draft Disability Action Plan 2022-2026 is Council’s plan to reduce barriers for people with a disability and support a more accessible and socially inclusive community. It outlines our vision for disability and inclusion in Maroondah, with equitable opportunities for people of all abilities, their families and their carers, to actively and fully participate.

General Local Law review
Share your thoughts to help inform the review of our General Local Law. Councils use Local Laws to respond to issues and community needs within a municipality.
These local laws complement their responsibilities and powers under both state and federal laws. Where appropriate, council may introduce local laws, or by-laws, to exercise these powers. Local laws are often adopted to protect public health, public safety, accessibility and amenity in a municipality.
