Remembrance Walk around Ringwood Lake

We invite you to join us for a vigil and walk at Ringwood Lake in support of suicide prevention, remembering lost loved ones and for the survivors of suicide.

In recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day, we are holding a Remembrance walk at Ringwood Lake to remember those that have lost their lives to suicide  

You are welcome to bring a small memento of your loved one to hang on our Remembrance Tree. It could be a photo of them or an item representing something they loved. Please ensure you bring an item you are happy for us to keep on the tree. 

This event will include a silent walk around Ringwood Lake. Join us afterwards for a drink and a light lunch. 

Event schedule 

• 10.30am - arrive and register
• 11am - welcome address
• 11.15am - remembrance activities
• 11.45am - candlelit walk around the lake
• 12noon - reflection
• 12.15pm - BBQ and refreshments provided, an opportunity for connection. There will be a booth set up from the LifeConnect team that will be a space for reflection and interviews.
• 1pm - event concludes

There will also be an opportunity to be filmed for our online content. This is optional.
