Revenue and Rating Plan
The Local Government Act 2020 requires Council to prepare a Revenue and Rating Plan to cover a minimum period of four years following each Council election.
The purpose of the Revenue and Rating Plan is to establish the revenue raising framework for Council which in conjunction with other income sources will adequately finance the objectives in the Council Plan.
This Plan explains how Council calculates the revenue needed to fund its activities, and how the funding burden will be apportioned between ratepayers and other users of Council facilities and services.
For more information on Council rates see Rates.
