Written Council consent and a Vehicle crossing permit are always required to repair, modify, relocate, reconstruct, or construct an additional vehicle crossing, or to undertake footpath or kerb and channel works.

Step 1.Apply for Vehicle Crossing Consent

Use this form to apply for Council consent to repair, modify, relocate, reconstruct or construct an additional vehicle crossing, or undertake footpath or kerb and channel works.

  • a plan of proposed vehicle crossing location
  • current photos
  • service authority consent where their services are affected

Temporary Traffic Management Permit

To undertake works on Council-owned roads, footpaths or nature strips, builders and contractors are required to have a Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Permit (formerly named a Road and Footpath Closure Permit) before works commence.
