Council provides vaccinations to babies, young children, adolescents and adults at all sessions as per the National Immunisation Program (NIP) and the Immunisation Schedule Victoria. Bookings are essential to attend an immunisation session.
Please allow sufficient time for your appointment, including check in, vaccination and 15 minute wait post vaccination. Please review important information regarding your appointment.
The first time you use Vitavo, you will be requested to create a secure account. This will allow Council to upload your records or your family’s immunisation records to the Australian Immunisation Register.
To create an account, you will require:

Verify your account using the code sent to your email address from Vitavo.
Fill in the details for yourself. If you have a child or dependent, you can add them on the next page.
Complete the consent for yourself, or for your dependant (by clicking on them).
If you have already created an account and now need to add a dependent, go to Manage Profile and choose Add a Dependent

Log in to the Vitavo portal to make a booking for yourself or for your family. The first time you use Vitavo you will be required to create a secure account.

Click Book Appointment
The booking will populate with saved details.
If you have not added dependents, you must add them to your profile before you can book their immunisations. To add a dependent go to Manage Profile and choose Add a Dependent.
If you have dependents on your account, you will be asked who you are booking the appointment for.
Confirm details are correct then click Next.
Select relevant Medical conditions then click Next.
Select immunisation that you are booking. You can choose more than one. Once you have selected all required immunisations click Next.
Tick the box to confirm consent, then click Next.
Click in the date field to view the calendar. Available dates for your chosen immunisation will be shown in black.
Once you have selected a date, you will be shown available venues and times. Make a selection then click Next.
To confirm your appointment click Book. You will receive an email confirming your booking.
Please review important information regarding your appointment.
If you have previously used CIRV for your immunisation appointment, this information will continue to be held on the CIRV platform managed by the Victorian Government’s Department of Health. Council may access this information in accordance with Council's Privacy Policy.

If you are booking for your child, you must add them to your profile as a dependent before you can book their immunisations. To add a dependent go to Manage Profile and choose Add a Dependent.

Please be aware that if you present to a session when your child is not at the correct age, we may be unable to immunise your child.
6 week immunisations cannot be given even one day early.
4 and 6 month immunisations must have an eight week gap between them.

If your child has received immunisations overseas, you will need to arrange for those records to be put onto the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) so your child’s immunisation status is kept up to date.

The Australian Immunisation Register keeps a record of the vaccinations given to you and your child. They receive reports from all immunisation providers.

As part of the National Immunisation Program (NIP), school students in Year 7 & 10 receive free vaccinations. Adolescents up to 19 years (or 25 years for HPV) who are not attending secondary school are also eligible for these vaccinations.
