Networks

  • Outer East Youth Service Providers Network
    The Outer East Youth Service Providers Network provides free networking and professional learning opportunities to professionals who work with young people aged 10 - 25 years in Maroondah, Knox, and the Yarra Ranges.
  • Maroondah Positive Education Network
    The Maroondah Positive Education Network (MPEN) aims to improve individual and collective wellbeing of students, staff, parents and the wider community. This ongoing collaboration between Council and the Department of Education is using a system-based approach to build capability, connection and community and enable our schools to create and maintain flourishing learning environments, where relationships are important and other people matter.

    Maroondah City Council develops a Professional Learning Program to support educators to access high quality, relevant and affordable training opportunities locally. The program includes an extensive range of topics, presented by respected and inspiring speakers.

    Maroondah Youth are here to support every young person aged 10 to 25 who lives, works, studies or plays in the City of Maroondah. Connect with us to discuss how we can make a difference for your students.
  • Youth support sessions
    Young people can connect with a youth worker who provide free, flexible and tailored support for young people in Maroondah aged 10 to 25 for up to 12 months.
  • Hangout
    Hangout is a weekly drop-in program for young people aged 12 to 25, every Thursday from 3 to 6pm in Croydon.
  • Maroondah TAC L2P program
    The TAC L2P Program assists Victorian learner drivers aged 16 to 21 with no access to a supervising driver or vehicle to gain the 120 hours driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence.

    Council organises parenting information sessions for parents, grandparents and carers in Maroondah to support families in their parenting journeys with children and young people.

A printed version of the events calendar is available at Council Service Centres and facilities across Maroondah at the beginning of each month. To be included in the printed events calendar, please submit your event at least 7 days before the start of the next month.
